Kate Owens – Hard, How Hard? Harder Than That
Originating at the sidelines of Kate Owens’ practice, Hard, How Hard?, Harder Than That is a radio play which charts the various exchanges between the artist and a fabricator as they set about creating a new series of work. In the absence of the sculptural objects, this account reveals the performative and participatory aspects of Owens' work. A recollection of a particular way of making, this dramatisation touches on metal-working techniques, car collisions, art history and Britain’s deer population.
