8 - 9 August 2018
Wednesday 8 & Thursday 9 August
10.30am – 4.30pm
Finding subject matter for paintings and drawings from everyday objects, details of environments and the colour in our surroundings, participants will work intensively over two consecutive days, creating works that explore colour, light and dark, composition and layering.
Taking inspiration from Peter Fraser's colour photography exhibition, participants are invited to use the surroundings at Camden Arts Centre, including access to the Galleries, Studios and Garden, to explore their chosen subject matter through experimental drawings and paintings in acrylic, gouache and watercolour.
This course is suitable for all levels and abilities. All materials are provided.
Matthew Krishanu will lead this course. Matthew graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2009. He has exhibited nationally and internationally, and regularly leads workshops in painting and drawing. Four of Matthew’s paintings have recently been acquired by the Arts Council Collection. Read more
