This sculptural composition is translated into three dimensional form from a painting by Giorgio Morandi. Often starting with the work of revered artists, Wine playfully appropriates existing images, in this case including a snail that is the signature mark of ceramic artist Ken Price.
Jesse Wine was the 2013 - 14 Ceramics Fellow at Camden Arts Centre.
Jesse Wine (b. 1983, Chester) lives and works in London. He gained his MA Fine Art at the Royal College of Art in 2010 and his BA Fine Art at Camberwell College of Art in 2007.
