Primary School Project

Taking inspiration from the cross-curricular and collaborative nature of an artists practice, this primary school project considers ways that local primary schools, artists and the local community can crossover and collaborate, using the school and gallery as a creative site of production and discussion, engaging with our exhibitions and placing value on art at the heart of learning.

We are ambitious in our vision to increase arts provision within primary schools by creatively empowering teachers and pupils in a creative curriculum, resulting in lasting change.

During 2018/19 artist Lydia CS will take up creative residence at Kingsgate Primary School in Camden for the full academic year.

The project is currently supported by The Garcia Family Foundation (UK) Ltd. We are grateful to John Lyons Charity and The Chapman Trust for their support for our Education programme.
