Markus Hansen

The installation was shown in Gallery III where the light and the architectural features are similar to the site for which the work was originally conceived. Presenting objects which recall instruments of investigation in reliquary-like structures and displaying dust, gathered from the gallery itself, behind glass, Hansen used the western world’s obsessions with hygiene and information to question notions of culture and knowledge.
