Natasha Kidd: ‘Painting Factory’
For In With The New, Kidd will install 8 painting systems in the Artists’ Studio. Each Machine, operated by a hand pump, will drip paint across the surface of a canvas; mechanising the production of the paintings and creating an industrial atmosphere within the studio, filling the space with sound and the smell of wet paint. Activated by the audience the final product of each machine will depend on the participation of the viewer.
