Ideas For Experiments: South Camden Community School

Ideas for Experiments promotes the value of learning through visual experimentation with primary and secondary schools in Camden, focussing on accessibility to pupils and students with varied language and learning needs.

Working with year 12 and 13 pupils from South Camden Community School, artists Richard Jones and Kate Cooper from the collective Auto Italia South East collaborate with the pupils and industry specialists to devise a site specific media studio and performance set.

Over four days, the workshops create a supportive environment to identify and critique real and constructed identities in TV and online media, with scripts and footage generated being taken back into school for further development by the students.
