Gardening, the final night of the series, is for everyone who likes the idea of growing their own garden. Featuring a coconut shy, gardener’s swap shop, competitions for vegetables, pickles and jam plus all you need to know about pruning – it’s time to get out in the garden.
Part of a series of events celebrating crafts and making as social pastimes. Activities ranging from making gnocchi and cider to knitting and flower arranging have traditionally drawn individuals and communities together to share knowledge and experience in a social context. In this spirit artists, amateurs, experts and makers have been invited to the Café and Garden to share their enthusiasm, knowledge – each has a different focus offer demonstrations and a chance to learn new skills.
