Aimed at aspiring music writers, Jennifer Lucy Allan, Online Editor of The Wire Magazine leads a music-writing workshop, offering an introduction to music journalism. This workshop will look at key areas of music writing. It will cover basic interview tips and techniques via The Lou Reed Scenario; how to structure features, focusing on the perfect introduction, and practical advice such as how to get in contact with editors, and pitching your ideas. This event is part of the Do-It-Yourself series curated by artist-in-residence, Song-Ming Ang.
