Films selected by Caroline Achaintre

Artist in Residence, Caroline Achaintre has selected Die Kleine Bushaltestelle (Gerüstbau) [Little Bus Stop [Scaffolding]] (Isa Genzken and Kai Althoff, 2012) to show alongside her Studio Residency. Preceding the film, Caroline will give a short introduction to her film choice and its relevance to her work.

This feature length movie is an absurdist comedy which features both artists playing various characters including detectives, prostitutes and babies.  Shot on location in Berlin, it plays on the clichés of the buddy movie, and is a tribute to the bond of friendship between kindred souls.

Running time: 71 minutes
