Clay for Juniors: Spoken, Seen, Touched - Camden Art Centre

Clay for Juniors: Spoken, Seen, Touched

During this half-term course we will use the title of the Glenn Ligon exhibition Call and Response to playfully explore the different ways we communicate with each other. We will discover how clay has its own language which is not based just on words; it can be seen and touched as well. We will use different ceramic techniques to create collaborative works as well as an individual work which will be fired to take home.

Tutor: Georgie Manly
Georgie is an artist exploring the place of ceramics within contemporary art. She completed an MA in Ceramics at Cardiff School of Art and Design in 2014 and now works both in Cardiff and London. She has been leading education projects in galleries for children and young people since 2007.
