Ceramics Techniques for Juniors - Camden Art Centre

Ceramics Techniques for Juniors

This course combines playful ideas with an introduction to basic ceramics techniques. We will create a variety of works with clay, learning techniques such as slab building, coiling, press moulding, glazing and surface decoration. This is an excellent course for budding ceramicists with creative imaginations.

Tutor: Katie Spragg
Katie graduated from Brighton University in 2010. Working with ceramics, plastics and illustration, she often leads workshops for both adults and children. Katie’s work combines ceramics and illustration to create pieces that celebrate storytelling. She has exhibited and undertaken residencies in the UK at the V&A and Somerset House, and internationally at the Guldagergaard International Ceramics Research Center in Denmark.
