Sculpture for Juniors: Sensations of Nature

Inspired by the exhibition, this course brings together drawing, sculpture, photography and installation. Using organic materials such as spices, soil, sand and stones to create floor-based artworks, we will explore abstractions found in nature. The course will culminate in a collaborative exhibition and pieces made during the week can be taken home at the end of the four days.

Tutor: Rachael Champion
Rachael is a London-based sculptor and installation artist. She works with building materials, found objects and plant life to question our shifting physical environment and consider the relationship between humanity and the natural world.

Full time students with NUS cards; in receipt of housing and council tax benefits, income support, job seekers allowance, a state pension; registered disabled. Please bring evidence of your concessionary status and show it to the Bookshop staff on the first day of your course. Please note that bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable unless the course is cancelled by the Centre.
