Master Class: Sunday Ceramics for Families

Sunday 1 September 2013, 2.00 – 4.30pm

Led by artist Laura Carlin, this playful master class invites families to work together to make a mini ceramic mural, conjuring up personal narratives from everyday objects. Taking inspiration from the Jockum Nordström and Emma Hart exhibitions, families will learn how to make ceramic tiles and small clay objects through slip drawings onto clay. All work will be fired and available for collection after the course.

Please note when booking:
The standard purchase should be 1 Adult (£8) and 1 Child (£12).
Any additional children can attend for the discounted rate (£8).
An adult ticket must be included with every order and the ratio of at least one adult to three children must be adhered to.

Tutor: Laura Carlin
Laura is an illustrator based in London, working on illustrated books and ceramics pieces. She has exhibited in London and has recently illustrated The Iron Man by Ted Hughes, published by Walker Books and Faber.
