Master Class: Ceramics: Core Techniques

Thursdays, 22 & 29 August 2013, 10.30am – 4.30pm

Led by artist Claire Bevacqua, this two day master class introduces students to key ceramic techniques in slab building, relief decoration, carving and patternmaking. Each student will produce a sculptural ceramic piece using these techniques which will be fired and available for collection at a later date. This is an excellent course for beginners and those looking to progress their ceramics practice. All materials are provided.

Lunch break: 1.00 – 2.00pm

Claire Bevacqua
Claire graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2001 and has since set up her own studio for producing and teaching ceramics alongside setting up an artists’ residency space Artigiana in Sicily.
