The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2017
After a successful campaign in 2016, Camden Arts Centre has been selected to take part in the 2017 Big Give Christmas Challenge to raise essential funds for our special educational needs schools project Get the Message.
The project delivers life-changing creative experiences for young people aged 11-17 with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Funds raised will help us to work with young people from three local schools, offering them practical workshops and culminating in a summer exhibition of their work at Camden Arts Centre. We are asking our many friends and supporters to help support this special project, which is now in its 15th year.
This year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge will launch at 12.00pm on Giving Tuesday, 28 November and run until 12.00pm Tuesday 5 December. Importantly, all donations made during this week will be matched – enabling you to double the value of your gift!
Suggested donations:
• £10 could go towards the costs of materials for our workshop sessions
• £25 could contribute to the Schools Day, bringing all three schools together for a workshop and celebration
• £50 could go towards the cost of the annual exhibition in our Artist’s Studio, showcasing the student’s work
• £100 could contribute to the fee for an artist with learning disabilities to co-lead the workshops
