Painting: Surface, Brush, Gesture - Camden Art Centre

Painting: Surface, Brush, Gesture

This two-day course will look at three key components of painting: the painting surface, the tools used and the bodily gesture behind mark making. We will experiment with unusual tools and surfaces to explore how far the choice of materials and approaches can affect the outcome of a painting. The course will draw on a range of subject matter, including working from life and has experimentation at its core.

No previous experience is necessary.
