Ceramics: Techniques in Focus

This course explores surface decoration and how layers of text, colour and image can give narrative to sculptural or functional forms. Students are encouraged to provide visual material that embodies their own cultural interests and will learn a variety of surface decoration techniques and how to apply them to hand-built ceramic forms. This course is suitable for beginners or those with some experience of working in clay.
