Camden Arts Centre strives to involve members of the public in the ideas and work of today's artists, and the artists who inspire them.  One of the key ways we do this is by offering short courses run by professional artists for people of all ages and abilities.

Ranging from teaching technical skills to open ended experimentation, our courses will introduce you to exciting contemporary practices and bring you together with like-minded enthusiasts.  A mixture of high-quality teaching and individual attention will enable you to get the very best out of any skill you bring.  These courses are open to everyone keen to uncover the enjoyment in the process of making art.

Taught in the Clore Ceramics and Drawing Studios, our courses include all essential facilities and materials.  Exhibitons are free and course attendees are welcome to use our Cafe and garden and enjoy a 10% discount on our delicious food and drinks menu.

10-week courses are available for both adults (18+ years) and children (8-11 years) and cater for all levels from beginners onwards.

Holiday courses for children (5-11 years) run over 4 half-days during most school holidays, providing fun and stimulating ways to interact with contemporary art and learn new skills.
