Animation for Families, led by George Wu

Clay and Sculpture for families, led by Viyki Turnbull
Wednesday 30 – Thursday 31 December 2009
Also showed as part of In With The New were the following free events:
Natasha Kidd: ‘Painting Factory’
For In With The New, Kidd installed 8 painting systems in the Artists’ Studio. Each Machine, operated by a hand pump, drips paint across the surface of a canvas; mechanising the production of the paintings and creating an industrial atmosphere within the studio, filling the space with sound and the smell of wet paint. Activated by the audience the final product of each machine depended on the participation of the viewer.
