Volunteer

Camden Arts Centre is dedicated to developing and nurturing the young artists, arts educators and arts administrators of the future. Alongside our education and exhibition programme we also offer our Volunteer Front of House Assistants the unique opportunity to undertake training directly with individual departments across the organisation. This unique scheme includes a variety of seminars, workshops, job shadowing and hands on experience and was awarded a National Training Award in 2010.

Since 2011 we have been developing this scheme and, in collaboration with Kingsgate Workshops Trust, are delighted with the resulting Test-Bed project. Between February – October 2012 Camden Arts Centre will offer our Volunteer Front of House Assistants the opportunity to develop their careers by devising, co-ordinating and installing an exhibition at the Kingsgate Gallery in October 2012.

Further information on the scheme and the key tasks involved is available at the bottom of this page.

We currently have a rolling pool of Volunteer Front of House Assistants and recruit more at regular times though-out the year. If you would like to get involved with the scheme in the future please email or post your CV and short supporting statement during the submission periods to:
